Brilliant Icknield Club Rider Pete Richards came 14th in the VTTA (Veteran Time Trial Association) 3 Distance BAR.
The BAR is an annual season long competition where each competitor has to complete events of 25, 50 and 100 miles as well as a 12 hour time trial. These times are aggregated together to take into account the different events. There a good amount of maths involved, but generally speaking, you have to be fastest over the events.
Pete's rides of 55.08, 1.50.48 and 4.00.26, respectively gave him 14th position in the National Completion and, drum roll, 1st in the London and Home Counties District!
Excellent work Pete, literally the fastest man in town!
